Retired But Not Gone

I completed my teaching career at Marist College after the spring 2016 semester. I am now happily retired on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay in Deale, MD, just south of Annapolis.

I enjoy spending my time with my wife, Joan, my children, and my grandchildren. I’m pictured here with one of my 10 grandkids, Liam, showing off our Striped Bass trophies.

I have chosen to archive this blog. While I am no longer keeping it active, I hope keeping it online will leave a footprint of my time at Marist and a reminder of the wonderful times with students in my classrooms, as well as my staff  and faculty colleagues. I also hope that someone will still find the information on this blog of some value, historic or otherwise.

Feel free to contact me at profvandyke@gmail.com. I’ll respond as long as I’m not out fishing!
